Know that Mullaly has been on the job officially for a couple weeks, I wonder if he’ll start showing a public image or if Fields will continue to fill that role?

Ghosn waited too long and missed his boat w/ Ford. It’s as simple as that. Ford didn’t NEED Carlos, they needed a turnaround man. They wanted someone that had worked inside the industry, but in Lulally they have a guy thats arguably just as capable (if not moreso) as Ghosn would have been.

This is actually a good idea. Ford/Nissan/Renault are competing in a few market together. If the share the hardware they have it would dramatically cut costs and reduce overheads.
