Ford will launch an end-of-month sales blitz, offering zero percent financing for as many as 72 months to Ford, Lincoln , and Mercury buyers, including those with subprime credit ratings. The offer will begin Thursday, according to Automotive News, and end Labor Day. Nearly all 2006 vehicles — even those in high demand — will be included in the program. Ford plans to detail the program to dealers today. Insiders suggest the Ford GT and certain larger F-Series trucks will be the only products exempt from the offer.
