Ford offers more rebates for F-Series

07/25/2006, 6:03 PM

By admin

Ford has added an additional $500 to $1,000 in rebates to its F-Series pickups, according to Dow Jones Newswires. The offer is available until the end of the month. Sales of the F-Series were hit hard last month amid an apparent backlash by consumers to fuel-hungry trucks. The F-150 is expected to get a design update in 2009.

I was never dumb enough to own an SUV or Pick Up. If you are a car enthusiast, something that handles like a truck is never gonna be good enough. So long suckers, I feel sorry for the 3 people in the world who really need SUVs and all those hot, sweaty, muscly working men in hard hats that use Pick ups for their business, as the rising gas prices are going to kill them

i love it!!! I just love watching those moron peeps, making $30,000 a year driving trucks/suvs for “IMAGE”, having a hard time paying for gas at the stations!! JUST LOVE IT!! :-) :-) :-) :-)

The “image” to drive trucks and suvs have been over for a long time. You all are an embarassment! Bunch of copycats!! Stop leasing those low $89 a month Rams, F-150, Dakota, etc!! You’re forgetting something…?? duhhh, high gas cost!

The new “image” is Fusion, Milan, Jetta, S-40, Civic, Mustang V6, Charger V6, 300 V6, something like that.

“apparent backlash by consumers to fuel-hungry trucks”

yep, no APPARENT bias by LLN here…keep moving, nothing to look at.

try reporting, not opinion in news articles. Here, let me help you LLN:

“Sales of the F-Series slowed last month, analysts believe consumer concerns over the fuel milage of trucks is to blame.”

see. biased reporting is NOT that hard.

now YOU try it LLN.

Cause F-150’s are unreliable and not as good as the Titan/Tundra. That’s very clear or they wouldn’t have to give out MORE and MORE rebates.

I believe Ford sells more F150’s per month than Titans/Tundras sell the entire year; combined! I recall reading that the T-100 was so bad they would not continue that name and had to come up with a new one. Titan has had huge brake problems.
