I work at an car auction yard in Houston. This past week on our lot a 98 Eddie Bauer Expedition went up in flames for just this reason.

I dont want to call this old news but this is NOT the first time this little switch has caused fires. Lincoln Mark VIIIs were once affect too, back in the mid 90s!!!!!

Obviously they didn’t test it, approve the design or do anything except slap it in the trucks and hope for the best. Bill Ford is just killing this great old company! Can’t he just buy a sports team and run that into the ground instead of wrecking the lives of so many people?
But great news for the new Chevy/GMCs.
