Ford Reflex: production model slated for 2008?

Ford at the Detroit auto show unveiled a slick new coupe it calls the Reflex (see our original report). You may already know about the Reflex’s solar-powered headlights, inflatable seatbelts and diesel-electric hybrid engine. But AutoExpress has revealed that the Reflex may be more than just a concept. According to a report in the British car magazine’s latest issue, Ford is planning to sell a Reflex-inspired coupe called the “Puma” in 2008. The current Reflex prototype and the production Puma are said to be based on the Ford Fiesta platform. The Puma is tipped to debut a year or so after the all-new Fiesta.
