Calm down, ateast your getting your money’s worth. Do I sense alittle anger?

I have nothing against Ford’s cars. Just how the dealerships offer incetives and rebates all year round because they’re desperate to sell something. Then when they release a model like this and the GT500 that actually sparks interest in the average consumer they try and screw him or her by slapping huge markups. Typical sleezy dealership games. And that’s mostly every Ford dealership i’ve been to in my area.
Im not old enough to remember but hear these muscle cars back in the day “were” affordable bang-for-the-buck cars that the average consumer could afford. I guess times have changed.

I can just picture all the sales people right now scrambling to their desks looking for their rolodexes to find those few loyal beback customers they might have.

well andre makes a very valid point. i dont see any injectors or holes for injectors. also i see a hose niple on the throtle bodies. this usually is indicative of carburetors. anyways i find it wierd that it would use carbs. also i dont know how emisions standards are for crate motors. if they have any then carbs are out of the question.

Yeah no time machines… but I SURE HAD a great time with those cars when I had them.REALLY.. I had to sell the GT500KR to go back to college as I couldn’t afford it and college.. well such is life… I have since switched camps however as I DO still have a 1967 SS big block Camaro… I WILL NEVER SELL IT..

Yeah you know what the worse story about this one is ? I sold the BOSS 302 to a guy in a partial trade for a Shelby GT500KR and I only had that for two years and sold it for NOTHING TOO in 1978..

You hear tales like that all the time. I know a guy that had a red ‘68 GT500 Mustang. He sold it in ‘75 for peanuts. The guy gets suicidal just thinking about it. Now in the condition his was, it’s worth a mint.

I had one of those a 1970 Boss 302 in a kinda butterscotch sort of color… i sold it for NOTHING a long time ago when they weren’t worth anything, wish i had it back now… Oh well…

One of those would be nice in a ‘50 Ford Coupe. Glad to see even if Ford refuses to sell cool cars, they atleast make a motor so you can make your own cool car.
