Ford could of saved 100's of millions of $$ if they had those elusive specs. Navistar didn't have to meet emission specs that Ford did. EGR coolers, for one make up half of the 6.0 problems. Spark plugs shooting out of cylinder heads stopped happening when the "proper torque specs" were administered. I for one own a few of those "sick 0" engine trucks. One of them has been in the shop nonstop, the other one never is at the dealer. I am sooooo happy to see the urea aftertreatment in this new truck. The high temperature exhaust treatment for lower NoX is a very unstable way to acheive what "cat piss" will do very easy. realist-so what are those proper specs??
