i will bow to Mulally and Farley; cant wait till the 2009 F150 comes out though im going to wait a year to get the 6.2 BOSS V8 with it, ill take it in Platinum in Black.

Good for Ford… an solid improvement of revenue and an overall net-gain. All they need to do is to continue concentrating on their core brands while ignoring incessant, over-opinionated twaddle.

Whatever money Ford makes it needs to invest it in decent car product. There is not one desirable model in the Ford US range at present.

With the sale of Jag/AM/LR, Ford got a chance to get back to its core competence. You’ll see an even bigger improvement in the coming year as they introduce some new/refreshened models. Ford is really trying hard to update their image and they’ve already succeeded in improving quality. I’m glad to see it. Now if only Chrysler can do the same…

I see a lot of MKX’s, a few MKZs, Edges, and a few new Focuses.
I think the CUVs are driving the sales. For a Ford the MKX is a nice CUV. I love the 60′s lincoln grille although i think they will change it in 09 to make it look like the MKT.
I got into the MKX at the Auto show and the interior was ok and the seats where nice but there were some noticable “affordable plastics and some gaps in the panels and the leather was very thin and prone to wearing fast.
They still need to fix the little things but all and all its not that bad. As long as its inexpensive it will sell well

I know I am starting to see MKXs, MKZs, Edges, and new Focuses all over the place, so I believe good things are happening at Ford. Problem is I do not believe they are consistent enough to not rest on their meager laurels.

Ha. Pre-tax in Europe probably means that 60% of it goes to the state.

Good for Ford though…it’s great to see that despite some iffy product launches, they’re still starting to break even.
