That interactive game would include men with no vision trying to run a car company.

You get to beat them sensless when they order concept cars but refuse to produce them.

You also drive the cars around and when the transmission fails or the gaskets start leaking oil you get to beat them again.

i havent seen a ford commercial on tv for awhile. cheap advertising was probably why ford gained such a large profit recently

The Taurus 500 is a good car that suffers from forgettable styling. Ford needs to put the guys who did the Euro Mondeo, the US Fusion, and the Interceptor to work on it.

I think for advertising Ford should send FORD TAURUS t-shirts to the next big refugee crisis in some xxxxhole 3rd world dump as a clothing donation, and then when the news shows the victims of the (surprising) annual worst ever drought in the desert finally fleeing their xxxxty situation, they will all be wearing FORD TAURUS shirts and Ford will get free worldwide advertising plus it will be known as a company that cares!

Well, Ford’s quality seems to have caught up with and surpassed most of the industry. So, that tired comment won’t cut it anymore. There are definitely some changes Ford could have made with this car vis-a-vis the center stack (although it is sophisticated enough) and the exterior (although it is not terrible – but I think it would look better with the Taurus X’s headlights at minimum).

However, it’s more powerful and gets better gas mileage (2008 adjusted) than the outgoing model. It’s definitely better equipped and will arrive with Sync in a couple months. It also undercuts its nearest competitors by thousands of dollars. So, overall, yeah, I think it’s a good vehicle if you are looking in this class.

the taurus is much improved over the 500. better styling, 62 more hp, quieter, more features and better handling.

Regardless of how good or bad the Taurus may be, what I want to know is: can I avoid seeing the ads while I’m flying? Is there no escape from the barrage of advertising? I really don’t like the thought of paying for an airline ticket, then being bombarded with ads while in my assigned seat.

I actually think the Taurus and Fusion are not bad. But bring over the Euro Focus to lure younger people into the showroom, and bring the RS or do an SVT version with it. There, with the release of the Fiesta, Ford would have a much more complete car line-up.

You want to complain about quality, please promptly step over to the Chrysler interior aisle!

Latest issue of Motor Trend states the new Taurus is much improved over the old “500″ in just about every measurable way! Ford says it has received 500 improvements. Who knows, maybe that is exactly what was needed to jump start a very fine family sedan.

so the Australia to Los Angeles or the London to NYC flights will be shocked to see that they’re going to a place where today fords are cars that are tweaked versions of a different car with failed sales in the past. they’ll fly back to their falcons and mondeos as soon as they can
