So Merc is going to offer the Milan and the Grand Marquis, with no Sable in between?

Sure, the Sable was pulling Cadillac STS numbers, but I would think they’d need something to bridge the gap between the antediluvian Grand Marq and the Milan.

And jayjc, I thought the Sable was good-looking, too.

Of course sales are down. Don’t know about Mercury (ford stopped selling it in Canada a few years back), but I like the looks of TauruSeX.
I’ve got solution for lucking sales, Ford: TRY ADVERTISING!!!
I don’t remember if I’ve ever seen a commercial or an ad for Freestyle or TauruSeX.

No Ford is a great car. I like the looks of the Milan. Mercury should get the Mondeo and sell it here. I guess Mercury will have smaller Fuel efficient cars and Lincoln will be the luxury (or near luxury)brand
I think its about time the Mercury product was more than just better looking copies of Ford products

I actually thought the Sable was one of Mercury’s best looking current products. It looks really sharp in darker colors. And it’s great value too, their sitting on the lots with thousands off. It’s too bad it’s so overlooked by everyone- even the current Ford Taurus is a great car.
