Ford to sponsor Daddy Yankee radio show

Ford announced Monday that is will be the official sponsor of reggaeton-rap artist Daddy Yankee’s new national radio show syndicated by ABC Radio Networks. The program, called On Fuego (On Fire), premieres March 4, clearing six of the top 10 Hispanic markets in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Houston, Dallas and Phoenix to reach 60 percent of the Hispanic population, reports MediaWeek.The sponsorship will be used to promote the Ford Fusion sedan.

If Ford wants to reach out to the reggae crowd, its real simple…just buy ‘em a bag of ganja. Then they’ll be real loyal to you.
