Drivers in the United Kingdom are being treated to a special Ford Focus to celebrate the arrival of the automaker’s 1.6-liter EcoBoost turbo four-cylinder: The Zetec S.

Under its hood, the Zetec S features a 178-horsepower (or 180 metric horsepower) version of Ford’s new 1.6-liter turbocharged gas engine. Despite the power, the Focus is rated at a leisurely 7.9 seconds from zero to 62 mph, although it emits a reasonable 139 g/km of CO2. Helping save gas is Ford’s ECOnetic Technology group, which includes automatic start/stop, an Eco mode, a gear shift indicator, regenerative brake charging and an active grille shutter like that used on the North American Focus’ Eco package.

Further setting the car apart is a unique body kit with special 17-inch alloy wheels, as well as a stiffened sport suspension, aluminum pedals and LED rear tail lamps. Inside, a Ford Power starter button has been added. The Inferno Red partial leather interior package shown also includes heated front seats, a power driver’s seat and power windows for £800.

Ford says that the Zetec S will list from £18,745, a £1,250 premium over a standard EcoBoosted model but with £1,700 worth of add-ons.
