Back in March, Nissan debuted the NV2500 full-size commercial van concept, and in July we showed you the first evidence that work on Nissan’s new van was well under way with a test mule wrapped in yards of heavy plastic sheeting. We’ve caught the “mule” once again – this time with the plastic wrap off – but still with the donor- Armada sheetmetal.

It’s been nearly two years since we first saw the Land Rover LRX in concept form at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show, but we now have our first visual evidence that the project is off the ground. Land ROver announced in late September that the LRX would be heading to production as a 2011 model.

Our spy photographers have been tracking the production version of the cX concept for several weeks now, but Mitsubishi has now released an official sketch of the forthcoming crossover. Mitsubishi confirmed the cX was production bound a little over a year ago.

Nissan’s Infiniti luxury brand will soon be launching its first hybrid vehicle in the form of the M35 Hybrid in early 2011, but the Japanese luxury marque could become far more serious about efficiency soon thereafter. Nissan has revealed that a version of the Land Glider concept could be heading to Infiniti dealers in the not-too-distant future.

Following an earlier image leak, our spy photographers have caught up with Infiniti’s next-generation QX flagship SUV. Infiniti confirmed earlier this year that a revised version of the company’s flagship QX SUV would bow sometime in 2010.

Our spy photographers have supplied us with plenty of shots of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz E-Class Convertible over the last few months but, thanks to a leaky European patent office, we now have images of the E-Class drop-top completely in the buff.

With a significant update in store for the Ford Edge, Lincoln designers are also working on a revised version of the MKX crossover — a sister vehicle to the Edge. Our spy photographer manged to snag a few pictures of the updated MKX earlier this morning. The updated MKX is expected to bow as a 2011 model.

With the 2011 model year quickly approaching, our spy photographers have once again caught up with Ford’s updated Edge CUV. In addition to the standard model, Ford is also believed to be working on a Sport version of the Edge, complete with 22-inch wheels and a body kit.

Toyota officially took the wraps off its Tokyo-bound FT-86 Concept earlier this month, but our spy photographers have just nabbed the first spy shots of the two-door at Germany’s Nurburgring. Clearly in the mule phase, the production version of the car is little more than a cobbled together unit at this point.

Photographs from a media event at the Mexican plant that will assemble the North American-specification Ford Fiesta sedan have emerged onto the Internet for the first time.

Mercedes-Benz has yet to give the R-Class a long-term contract, but the German automaker will offer up a fresh example of the minivan/crossover/SUV for the 2011 model year. Our spy photographers just spotted the R-Class while out testing, shielded by only a few pieces of tape.

Mercedes-Benz is readying an all-new B-Class, and we have the first spy pictures to prove it. Our spy photographers spotted the next-generation B-Class undergoing shakedown testing earlier this morning on the streets of Germany.

Toyota has already revealed its share of Toyota-Subaru joint-venture – the Tokyo Motor Show-bound FT-86 Concept – but we have yet to hear anything on Subaru’s entry-level 2+2 offering. However, sketches of what appear to be Subaru’s take on the FT-86 have surfaced online.
