Don't forget guys, GM usually understates power ratings, while Toyota usually overstates. Also don't forget that the new VQ series (Nissan) will have a higher displacement (3.8L) which means its not an apples to apples comparison. I'd like to see what some tuners could do with this engine, seeing how easy it is to control AF ratios with DI. Add some tubular headers and a cold air intake, change the fuel mapping... bet you could get it to 290 hp as an NA engine. GM has to leapfrog the competition not still playing catch up. It would be nice to have this engine in the new Camaro as its base model.
