In an interview yesterday, General Motors’ CEO Rick Waggoner said bankruptcy is not a good option for his company. Recently, columnist Andy Martin say General Motors should file for bankruptcy immediately, and begin a massive restructuring. Tom Van Riper of Forbes suggested that General Motors and Ford may be headed toward bankruptcy in the next few year — and that might not be a bad thing. Meanwhile, a leading Wall Street analyst said declining sales are likely to push the U.S. market share of GM for October to its lowest monthly level in 25 years.
