Y'all means that you are some sort of hick probably living in a trailer park in some shanty town in West Virginia
Yea you are late and its nice to post once everyone is done with the thread. I have already proven that GM has had more recalls than Toyota I have already silenced Monte and A4 with the numbers and my articles cited.
Of course there is going to be someone like yourself with little wit who wants to come in and say something just as meaningless as the life you lead
I have driven the Malibu the Aura and the G6 (twice) and they are inferior when compared to the Camry and Honda Accord in every way.
Im glad you stayed up to post that nonsense Get some sleep

Yeah, I'm late too, but...

Ya'll need to quit pickin' on poor 1115, he's doing the best he can. That, and I love Darwin awardees. 1115, don't sweat these bullies, they don't know you, man. But you should know Chevy's aren't all that bad, either. Maybe could even drive one and see for yourself when you're old enough to get a real license of your own.

You know, floor mats are a pretty serious recall. It sounds weak, but imagine if your floor mat came loose and got all bunched up underneath your brake pedal...

"Do they build a better luxury sedan than the Cadillac CTS? Yes its called the TL and the GS350"

Yup, thats why the CTS has won BOTH Motor Trend car of the year AND been on Car and Driver's 10 best for two consecutive years in a row. It must also be why the CTS-V has no real rival out of japan. IS-F? give me a fvcking break. you just sound like your grasping at straws because youve been so wrong you cant turn back now. pathetic. im done with this thread.

It took 5 days, 1115, because I have a life beyond following LLN comment posts. 20 minutes is longer than i spent finding that data. Yes GM has their recalls, but toyota is RIGHT IN LINE with them and your cocksucking little bias is null and void. I win.

The original investigation involved 2007 Chevrolet Tahoes and GMC Yukons, but the NHSTA has now greatly increased its inquiry. about 423,000 The investigation now covers 21 GM truck and SUV models from 2006, 2007 and 2008 ___2.7 million vehicles

The possibility of engine fires has prompted General Motors to recall passenger sedans manufactured between 1997 and 2003. The affected vehicles have naturally aspirated 3.8 liter V6 engines, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration nearly ____1.5 million

2005-2007 Cadillac CTS and STS sedans, 2005-2007 Cadillac SRX crossovers, and 2006-2007 Pontiac Solstice and the 2007 Saturn Sky convertibles ____313,000

GM Recalls 2009 Chevrolets, GMCs, Saturns, Buicks and Pontiacs ____276000

GM is recalling 2009 Cadillac CTS vehicles for a software problem with the front passenger-side airbag.____12662

GM is recalling 2008 Buick Enclave and 2007-'08 GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook vehicles ___88809

General Motors Corp. is recalling vehicles because of a potential defect in the shift lever that could cause a vehicle to roll away. the recall involves 2009 model year versions of the Buick Enclave; Chevrolet Cobalt, HHR, Malibu and Traverse; GMC Acadia; Pontiac G5 and G6; and the Saturn Aura and Outlook REALLY you think they would be able to get this part down ______ 277,000 vehicles

The first 2 add up to more than 4 MILLION and these are serious In one case the truck set a home on fire. This only took 20 minutes not 5 days bc GM recalls are plentiful
Nice try though ...well not really

oh sorry 1115, i thought i would just go ahead and mention the most RECENT recalls from toyota, let me go back and get the rest of the recent ones, and recap a total for you.

Yaris: 1,300,000
Lexus: 214,500
Matrix/Vibe: 660,000 (A toyota vehicle designed for GM, who are you gonna try and blame on that one?)
Highlander: 90,000
Sienna: 600,000
Tundra: 15,600
Various model recall: 249,400
floor mats: 55,000 (a battery cable is more complex than a fvcking floor mat)

That is 3,184,500 recalls and...
All of the above occured in the LAST TWO YEARS ALONE!

Here are more:
Tacoma: investigated by NHTSA
FJ Cruiser: 9,000 in 2006
Prius: 160,000 in 2005

the list goes on.

Here is also an interesting snippet from a 2006 forbes article:
As a percentage of vehicles recalled compared to the number on the road, Ford sat at 11.7 percent, Toyota at 10.1 percent, GM at 6.8 percent, Honda at 4.0 percent, and Chrysler at just 2.5 percent.

80k? high mileage? 1115 you are hopeless, there's no point in arguing with you any farther. I can sit here and bring up FACTS all day long. Yet you will continue to divert from the facts, bring up pointless things, and laugh because you think your a car czar who knows everything there is to know about quality, dependability, performance, and desire.

What problems do the CTS have?
LOL I mentioned them and so did you and then glossed over it. This is too funny. I'm sure you had no problems at 80 k lol. That is a lot of mileage for an American car so that is pretty impressive lol. J2 (Toyota and Honda ) go more like 150-200k with little or no issues but thats fine
Im sure your car is Godzilla, Cloverfield, your mother or whatever you want to call it
CTS as car of the year - I think after about 17 years I think it was time for MT to throw Caddy a bone
Its 09 by the way

111Guy:
What problems do the CTS have?
If your only negative is the rear end in the very first CTS-V than that is old news.
I had a 05 CTS that I put 80k on in two years with zero problems.
When the new CTS-V came out I had to trade it in. The new CTS-V is a monster!!
GM did learn from there mistakes on the first CTS-V. That is why they put in up against cars like the M5, and not up against any of the j3 cars.

Of course I don't care but being that you asked that question late night seemingly in defense of Monte I should ask is he your girlfriend?
That is not all…Say something relevant to the thread or cars in general and stop trying to pick up guys
Oh by the way
tripleonefive
Nov 2010 now huh
this should have been on the market 3 years ago ME

Left wing agenda
how should it have been released 3 years ago? we still don’t have the infrastructure to recharge these things, and we certainly didn’t have it in 2006… HIS RESPONSE TO ME
and if a camaro battery cable is the only angle you can think of to flog that dead horse from, then things are looking pretty good in volt land…TO ME AGAIN

I think it was mindless when you changed the from the subject of this thread to camaros and recalls, it's you that should stay out of the conversation and stay on subject. Why do you think everyone else also tells you you're an idiot? I supose you are the only one that really knows! We are soooooooo lucky to be in the presence of such genious! So maybe you could wait for a thread about resale or recalls to post in. Untill then the rest of us adults would like to talk like adults on the subject in the article. Or just keep it up and I'll just keep owning you. Later

Monte, You decided to make a mindless comment stemming from the what was said btw Aj DB9 and myself. You didnt read the argument which you should have and you spoke too soon and lost and then tried to back peddle and it didnt work
I explained what a POS the CTS is and when I asked you to look at the resale to compare the two you didn't bc you knew the TL was higher or you did and found out the TL was higher Either way you lost!.

So go spend the rest of the night being embarassed about being wrong on all counts and try to think of some witty comebacks so you dont feel so bad about being an asshole who jumped the gun.
Keep hope that someday you can actually afford a new car someday and not just talk about it on car boards.
Finished

1115, I was in this forum since it was actually talking about hybrids, something you know nothing about. You only change the subject to fit your arguement, thats why you changed it after I explained what a POS the acura is. I don't need a responce from you to something I didn't mention. So go spend the rest of the night loking up used cars, seems you do that a lot. Keep hope, someday you can get that used honda you always dreamed of.

Next time dont jump into a convo until you fully read and understand what is being discussed Children do that. I'm sure you are embarrassed and you should be.
I would make a comment about you crashing the CTS due to one if its MANY recalls but you already get the idea
Make sure you R E A D next time you decide to make a mindless comment
You may go to bed now or better yet make another mindless comment so I can defeat you again

Then why would you bring up the cts in a response to me? Do you have a.d.d. or something? Or do you have trouble concentrating after banging your head off your defective air bag?

That's weird, I don't recall mentioning the CTS. Way to divert attention away from the acura POS.

No I was thinking about the CTS Rear diff failure that can cause loss of power and control resulting in a crash. Or an improperly tightened bolt that could loosen resulting of separation of the upper and lower steering shafts. You have to LOVE IT !
And suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure you buy new I believe you
Shut your mouth and know you place
