Also, they clearly don’t have any less recalls. In 1988, maybe, but (1) it isn’t 1988 and (2) GM was selling many times more cars than Toyonda back then so of course their recalls were higher. Now, in the years that GM and Toyoda have been selling about the same number of cars, Toyoda has been dropping massive recalls on those unfortunate enough to buy their products without considering the alternatives.

So how are Toyonda superior (please tell me something I haven’t heard before + prove what you are saying with cited sources – give LINKS, I don’t know how I can be any clearer)

Of course then you go on to say the usual biased “anything with a T or H badge are the best” so… Back to arguing Resale: You always seem to talk about resale when you get in a tight spot. Now, you remember that the Corvette is the top resale car right? So how can you stereotype GM as having bad resale when the car with the best resale IS a GM!! Of course, cars like the Aztec or the Saturn L-series, or the LaCrosse have poor resale. But that is because (1) those cars look bad inside and out, (2) they are often sold to rental fleets which depresses their value and (3) they are not in high demand. Those are just some of the things that could determine resale value and they lack them. Now, if you take a good looking, in high demand, non-rental car like the brand new Malibu, you can bet your ass that it will have great resale (and so will the CTS, or Camaro, or G8, or Corvette, or Enclave, etc.)

autonutt – China is an economic threat to us. A lot of our companies manufacturing operations are there, a lot of our imports come from there, a lot of our debt is held by China, and a lot of our investment dollars are going there. We might be making a couple quick dollars there right now, but this will all bite us in the ass when China becomes our equal and we get into conflict with them. THEY are the ones that are rapidly expanding their economy right now, they are building all these new skyscrapers, corporations, etc.

1115 says “Toyotas still have their reliability build quality and high resale”. Do you not read KBB which says that Toy resale is not the best? That Volkswagen, and even Honda are better than Toy? That CR pulled off the Camry and Tundra off of the “automatically recommended list” because of poor build quality? That Toyota has been issuing massive recalls for the past, NOT one, but several years (I have shown you proof of this until at least 2003, it could possibly go back further), Do you acknowledge anything people say? I mean, if you boss said you were fired from your Wendy’s job, would you ignore what he was saying and just coming back tomorrow? Because right now you seem to be ignoring the fact that we disprove everything you say and then you say it all over again as if no one challenged you on it..
