Every large manufacturer shares platfroms the same way. That is how they are able to sell $20,000 vehicles unlike OEM's like Mercedes and BMW which sell at much higher prices but are able to only have one vehicle/platform. Now the Coblat/G5 do take it too far but the G5 (available in coupe only) was an error in product planning at GM which the Pontiac dealers demanded to get a smaller coupe in their stable. Buick may have been an old mans car but by this time in two years the average will be around 50. The Enclave has a really low average age(being bought by families with kids to replace SUV's) and the LaCrosse will also go younger due to it's styling.
