6ix GM has a contract with UAW in canada that a car called camaro must be built in a canadian factory that was bulldozed down several years ago. this contract runs till the end of 2007 so it will have to be changed to build a camaro and that will be at least 2008 for the 2009 MY camaro

A Zeta Cadilac DTS?? Why wouldn't it be on Sigma, since it is the Cadillac exclusive RWD platform. Anyway, I can't wait to see all these vehicles.

They're just timing the build so that it matches up with oil hitting $100/barrel.

Same place where my 2000 Bonneville SSEI was built. That’s probably why my car has had 0 issues in 7 years, unlike the ones built in different locations.

Great. The stupid camaro won't be in production for another three years. That means we'll continue seeing "spy" photos and exclusive tests of the car until fall of 2009. Jeesh. Shoot, by then, the 1996 Camaro will be considered retro. Congress doesn't take this long to get something done. Most of the parts on the new Camaro will be stock GM stuff, so why the long time? I'd think they would be better off using lower-cost, temporary tooling just to get the thing rolling and simply limit production numbers for a few years. That would at least keep the demand high and not fill the market too fast.
