Tiger Woods might be getting sick of his aging Buick LaCrosse, but it looks like the world’s number one golfer – along with the rest of America – will have to wait a little while longer for the all-new model. General Motors announced on Friday that it will be delaying the launch of its next-generation LaCross until January.
The 2010 LaCrosse was scheduled to make its first public appearance at next month’s Los Angeles Auto Show, but a new Reuters report indicates the LaCrosse’s debut has been pushed back to January’s Detroit Auto Show.
In addition to the LaCrosse’s delayed debut, Reuters also says the Cadillac CTS Coupe’s debut has been moved from the LA show to the NAIAS in Detroit.
Cost cutting was the reason given for the delays, but given how far along both cars are, there is probably some other underlying issues.
