GM partners with Carfax for Certified Used Vehicles

General Motors today announced that GM Certified Used Vehicles has teamed with Carfax to make Carfax Vehicle History Reports a key component in the automaker’s used-vehicle certification process. Beginning January 9, consumers receive Carfax Vehicle History Reports with delivery of their GM Certified Used Vehicles. In addition to meeting GM Certified’s quality standards, every GM Certified Used Vehicle will now come with the Carfax Buyback Guarantee, indicating the vehicle does not contain any state DMV-reported vehicle problems, such as salvage, fire, flood, odometer problems or manufacturer buybacks. All GM Certified Used Vehicles, besides qualifying for the Carfax Buyback Guarantee, must pass a stringent 110-plus point mechanical and cosmetic inspection and reconditioning process and are supported by a three-month/3,000-mile comprehensive limited warranty, a three-day/150-mile customer satisfaction guarantee, and 24-hour roadside assistance during the term of the warranty
