I cringe at the what the dealers are going to do with trying to scalp above msrp. Also I hope they don’t do the sequential release whereby all that you can get is the 6 cylinder version, with the top models being dribbled out to keep the price over msrp. I really hate the big 3

The roadside assistant one looks OK but lose the stupid grill guard thing, lower it a little more and take off that side bar thing too. The blue one with 427 on the hood is nice as well.

I really hope that they make the Dale Earnhardt one as the Z71, I would be the first in line for that, the others are all right, most of them look better than the new stock Silverado and Sierra so… hopefully some of these will be put into production.

Remember, SEMA is the ’silly season’. But there is promise here and there.
Owning a Z71, I can say I like the iterations and concepts I see here. I agree with VDuv, hope many of these hints make some near future production models.
I volunteer to put the stick in your eye ironpony, just let me know when you are ready.

Love the Dale Jr Silverado. Never been a fan of the street truck thing…

Gotta remember the audience of this show. It’s not really for individual buyers, but companies that would either buy fleets and customize (ie the roadside assistance) or companies that would off after market packages (Dale Jr truck).

If theres nothing besides those two that you would drive, you must have already poked a stick in your eye. All of the Z71 Plus trucks are awesome, the Sierra All-Terrain is sweet, the Outlook isnt overdone, the Ragtop H3 is pretty badass, and yes the Dale Jr (sans paintjob), and 427 are also nice.

Screw the Rallysport, the OCC (hideous), and the Tahoe Street tuner.

Obviously the FlexFuel, MLB, Ski Team, and Roadside Assistance arent meant for public purchase whatsoever. While many of you say the Roadside Assistance truck is ugly, i think it would be much cooler to get your roadside help from something cool and different like that instead of a rickety old wrecker, or a hyundai.

I like the styling of the rear box and exhaust on the red “Dale Jr.” 4-door. A modern Step-side look… However if only comes with that Dale Jr signiture in the paint, I’d rather poke a stick in my eye than drive it. The blue 427 truck looks like fun… Other than that, not my cup of tea. GM is doing all they can to keep Americans buying large SUVs & Trucks. 2 years from now after George W drops the bomb, and gas is $100 per gallon, these will be found abandoned on the sides of american highways after they run out of fuel… Welcome to the Apacolypse.

Strange. The only one I like at all is the Roadside Assistance. Well… once you remove all the phone numbers and big ass chevy logos, that is. But, then again, I like planes like the C-130 and A10 Warthog. My sensibilities may be a bit warped.

thats quite a variety, whether or not half of them are any good, im sure enough are unique and sweet enough to make these a hit at the show. A+ GM, your doing alot better than ford.

I like the 9xx vehicles, but this is not my thing. Give me the plain-jane stock vehicles, thanks. That black & yellow “Roadside Assistance” one is awful looking. Makes me shudder just looking at it.
