Hamann tunes new BMW Z4 roadster

08/22/2006, 1:22 PM

By admin

Tuning firm Hamann has put together a new kit for the new BMW Z4 roadster. The HM 3.3 kit for the Z4 3.0i boosts output to 286 horsepower and 262 pound-feet. In addition, the range contains custom Hamann light alloy wheels in 17-, 18- or 19-inch diameter, sporty suspension modifications, a high performance brake system (four-piston with 15″ rotors), prominently designed bodystyling parts and exclusive options for the cockpit. Reaching 62 mph takes 5 seconds flat. Gallery after the jump…

front end looks like it got mixed up with an old gen M3 and therefore is a bit antiquated for my liking!!!!

gawd, I wonder if I go outside to the parking lot and spray-paint my own Bimmer if i could get it on Leftlanenews? I swear, every day it’s “this tuner just uglified a MB something something” or “1200 horsepower Cayenne”. This is boring stuff. More spy pics. More insider information about real stuff, not Camaro-Mullet-man crap.

But feel free to post pics of the new 3-series coupe anytime.

ha ha…you’re right. Okay, I’ll try to be positive here from now on.

That was too funny. It’s good to be called out every once in a while.

Just when you thought the Z4 couldn’t be any stranger-looking…

LLN…aren’t there any other stories than Tuner hackjobs? Cmon, we are in the middle of 2007 launch season…got anything there?? Tests? Comparisons? ANYTHING? Get with it.

I dont really like this tuner car, although I do like most. Give me a Z4 M coupe/roadster instead. More horsepower, less money, same performance.

I for one do not like this car. It just looks a little as you guys put it “riced out”. I like the Z4, but not this.

What’s with all the haters for LLN???
Ask yourself the question – where would we be without LLN?
Another question — Would we be posting on “Yachts Quarterly”?
And finally — would you rather have 8 posts per day, or only 1 every day or two?

LLN simply provides basic info and pic’s, from their sources, and posts it as it becomes revevent.

I will take that any day, over no news at all.
(and no, I don’t work for them).
Quit hating!!!!!

ehhh — “Yeah why wouldnt you just get a Z4M?”

Exactly. I do not get the point. If you had tuned it threee years ago , then OK, but why bother now.

Put the 335 motor in it. At least the torque will be higher.
