In a recent editorial, columnist Chris Laverty writes about the BMW E30 3-Series from the 1980s, which he feels was one of the last truly iconic models from the brand. “You might not feel very special in a brand new BMW nowadays (6 Series apart), but once upon a time kids used to put pictures of the things on their bedroom walls.” So is BMW still an iconic brand? We agree that the 6-Series ranks high on the list of desirable top-dollar cars, but what about Bavaria’s other models?
