Nice big puff of black smoke at the end of that dyno run… way to tune that car, Hennessey! Considering that Hennessey is tuning and testing these on a chassis dyno, how exactly is he arriving at the crank horsepower numbers?

My guess is that the SEMA car will be largely nonfunctional.

I just wish Hennessey made the front end look a little “Elise”-like….

However a 2400lbs car with your choice of a 725hp, 1,000hp, 1,200hp sourced LS9, you might as well strap wings to this thing because it’s gonna fly.

the problem with these cars based off the elise is the look like a kit car somewhat and for 600,000 you could buy multiple hi-po cars

1/2 the price of a Veyron…not too bad.

Still…kinda pricey for a Lotus Esprit w/a Chevy engine.
