It wasn’t right when Pontiac created Aztec, or when BMW did it. And it sure ain’t right when Honda does it. Finally a miss-step by Honda. What were the creators of this ugly-ass thing thinking.

A well designed wagon with 4WD option would have have been a better if more conservative bet. They already have one in their stable – the European Honda Tourer.

Nightblack_97 – You don’t really have to be an enthusiast to see that it’s ugly. It always amazes me why people buy some cars when they can have something much better looking in the same segment, for the same money, but they do. Somehow advertisement convinced people that number of cupholders or 0,1 liter per 100km difference in fuel consumption matters more then aesthetics.

Maraih— Ya I’m with you on the japanese quality thing. First Toyota slipped and now Honda is showing signs too. But I doubt the crosstour will seel for much more than the Sedan. Now I do see it overlapping with CRV sales though. I would think wagons and cuvs were pretty much in the same demographic, unless companies start making cuv’s more manly and giving them off road capabilities and such.

Nightblack_97 I Completely understand where you are coming from. The idea of a Crossover is great. BUT, what I fail to understand is how someone could or even would buy this over a Ford Edge, Dodge Journey, etc. (Both of which look better in my opinion). I guarantee you that this “Crosstour” will cost more then the two examples that I just mentioned, and both will hold up just as long as this Honda. But people are SO brain washed into thinking that its only Japanese vehicles that will hold up, no matter what the thing looks like.

The Giant SUV phase is ending. Americans are going back to station wagons. This is the modern interpreatation of a station wagon. For that, it actaully looks pretty decent. remember the old wagons… ugly as butt. I know we’re all enthusiats here, but companies make money off the masses not us. Otherwise, only porshe, bmw, and teh exotic automakers would be in business.
And vw would only produce gti’s

This thing is an answer to a question no one asked!! It is ugly as sin!! And they copied Ford with the Fusion front end, but enlarged the grille. Sadly, it will sell ONLY because its a Honda. Take for example, the new Honda Pilot. Also ugly as sin, and I see many on the road. Maybe this is what its gonna take for people to realize that the Japanese aren’t perfect when it comes to building cars! With that said, I am glad their going to build this sad excuse of a vehicle.

The front end with that oversized grille always reminds me of a kid’s plastic dinosaur toy grinning back at me. I thought Dodge was the only company to put truck grilles on cars?

This must have been designed by the idiots who ruined the Acura line.

Double disappointing. Outside not elegant. Interior is a cheap, dumbed-down, plastic looking version of the latest Honda interior in their European counterpart vehicle, the Honda Tourer (Accord wagon). From a distance it looks like to Ford emblem should be on the grill….. On a similar yet different note, the auto industries decision to build models like this puzzles me. They all have a certain frumpyness/ ****tyness to them.

It’s just does not flow! Speaking of interior, they could get rid of million buttons on the dash and placed one selection wheel. Not the best ergonomics, when I drive mrs’s car I get confused and destructed by all those buttons.
