re. the S2000, the interior’s not bad, although I can’t imagine why a sports car needs a television screen. That said I don’t see anything here that I prefer to the bog standard grey one that I used to own with two-tone black and red leather.

I own an S2000, and I’d rather keep it than have this completely messed up Sports Modulo S2000. It’s front and side modifications are a complete mess, who was in charge of this? Shame on them for actually thinking it’s pleasing in terms of design and styling. I’d go for the carbon fibre interior but that’s it.

I think they only two decent looking Modulo’s shown are the white type-r and the redish-orange Fit. Although the stock JDM type-r looks better IMO anyway. I just wish it wouldn’t cost so much to convert our US specs models.

Every Honda is beginning to look like it was made primarily for the JDM and Acura is already there. Stylistically at least, I’m not sure that’s really the wisest direction to be taking. It’s easy to make a car look like a toy, but the other way around not so much.

@ LLN, it’s the Tokyo Auto Salon, not Tokyo Motor Show, the difference being the Auto Salon caters specifically to the aftermarket and the Motor Show is more about concepts and production-based vehicles. The Tokyo Auto Salon is every January. The Motor Show is every two years in the fall.

Why this site attracts such a large number of either homophobes or pedophiles is beyond my imaginations. In my days cars were associated with young good looking women and most of cars aficionados were definitely heterosexual: Marlboro types. Now all kinds of pederasts post here.

On the subject of cars: is it me or Honda design (at least for Japan) started moving in right direction? Hatches and wagons looked good and grilles are much more acceptable then what we see on the road in old US of A.
