Honda prices new CR-V; begins sales

Honda has announced the all-new 2007 Honda CR-V is debuting today at dealerships nationwide. Prices for the 2007 Honda CR-V range from $20,600 for the CR-V LX model to $26,000 for the CR-V 4-WD EX-L model. Honda’s Satellite-Linked Navigation System with Voice Recognition and rearview camera is available as a $2,000 factory-installed option. The CR-V is powered by a 166-horsepower, 2.4-liter, 4 cylinder engine.

The crossover is equipped with a Vehicle Stability Assist system and a comprehensive list of standard safety features, including side curtain airbags with roll-over sensors, front side airbags with Occupant Position Detection System and anti-lock braking system.

Should be a very competitive offering. And if the styling holds back sales, we’ll see another quick makeover a la the 7th generation Accord in a couple of years. Personally, I think it looks pretty good in the flesh. The pics don’t do it any justice.

my wife wanted one immediately from looking at the pics. Hopefully she can hold herself back the next time she drops off her 2001 at the dealer for service ……

While it’s not exactly the most exciting looking vehicle on the lot, it certainly makes it up in utility.

Vehicles like this are designed to accomodate a lifestyle rather than define it. This is what the Aztek was supposed to have been.

Damn that’s cheap and I’m sure it’ll sell though I’ll never use a cute looking SUV like that for daily use.

I have had one sitting in front of my house for about a week now with distributor license plates… and in person the styling is much easier to stomach. The light green color will be very popular, and I wouldn’t mind having one myself now that I have seen it in the flesh.
