Honda has released images of its Sports Modulo Civic Type-R concept ahead of the car’s Tokyo Auto Salon debut next month. Based on the already potent Civic Type-R, the Sports Modulo version adds several go-fast goodies.
The Sports Modulo Civic Type-R concept features 19 inch wheels — shod in 225/35 R19 size rubber — a revised suspension, new front and rear fascias, side skirts and rear wing. A unique paint job finishes off the Civic’s spottier look.

The interior continues with the car’s track-ready styling, and includes Recaro seats, and F1-style steering wheel with shift lights and plenty of carbon fiber.

No word on any changes under hood.
