Comments on: Honda sues Ford over Lincoln MKX

The MKX is a Crossover vehicle, while the honda MDX is more expensive Pilot SUV(sport utility vehicle). No one gave a darn when honda made a smaller version of the sport trac and named it the ridgeline. The confusion maybe for people whom don’t know the ABCs.
Wait until these hondas are sent to be mass produced by good folks of Alabama. Go Ford Go! It is not a replacement of the Aviator, that vehicle is larger then the Pilot or the M D X.

I understand where honda is coming from with this lawsuit. I would be very upset if my automobiles would be confused with a brand of such poor quality vehicles as FORDS

I would love to see Ford issue a press release and tell honda where they can shove there lawsuit. Further more I would love for Ford to expose toyotas deceptive advertising practices. MKX makes me think Mark X. Since there was a Mark III, Mark IV, Mark V, Mark VI…. I think this ones in the bag.

I’ve said this before. There are only 26 English alphabets to go around. If you don’t want to give your car a real model name, you shouldn’t be whining about someone else having a similar letter combination.

think about all the letters we’d have law suits over (and we had some)… M35/45 vs. M3/5 vs. M-class, S3/4/6/8 vs. SL, RL vs. R-class, G35 vs. G-class, Z4 vs. 350Z, etc. it’ll never end!
