It’s interesting as a design excercise but the whole ‘shooting brake’ concept had been done much better than this.

The thing looks way too cutesey for a performance car too…it screams ‘Meow, Hello Kitty’ instead of ‘I want to rip the beating heat out out of your chest while I piss down your throax’.

I smell Honda CRX replacement. The whole philosophy is great, but it looks so much like a rear-drive car… why don’t they just make it a subcompact rear-drive car?!

Anything that has only two seats is going to be quite unpractical. Why cling to economy car laurels, Honda? Build a subcompact, rear-drive, 2500lb, two-seater CRX. Just build it and we’ll love you for it and buy buy buy.

Torque? in a Honda??? Honda car engines are essentially scaled-up motorcycle engines. Driving in the lower RPM range gives you nice, if boring, fuel economy; then crank it to 6500+ for the fun stuff.

but why doesn’t it have any powerif it’s going to be a sports car? Physics mandates that pushing is easier than pulling. The REMIX explores the shape and design of a two-seat sports car focused on performance. It’s not a sports car.

Not quite ‘S3000′… more of a 9th Gen CRX. Give it some rear quarter windows, and a more realistic tire/suspension, and watch them fly out the door. Bonus if it come with a hybrid or fuelcell powerplant

Agreed. Front looks modern and futuristic but the rear just doesnt do it for me. But thats just because I love the Coupe shape versus the shooting brake style i.e. 2000 Si vs 2004 Si, A4 vs A3 etc…I’m sure it will be a ton of fun to drive though, as all sporty high-revving Hondas are…
