Honda ’s cars are selling well – so well that they’ve been “forced” to increase production world-wide. North American production, for example, is set to increase from 1.4 million cars this year to 1.62 million cars next year, bolstered by, among other things, an all-new plant in Greensburg, Ind.
The Detroit Free Press reports that Honda will also begin production of its wildly successful CR-V in Mexico – originally slated for 30,000 units and now bumped up to 50,000. Honda is also building new plants in Thailand -the automaker’s second – and Argentina – a first for Honda.
Earlier today, Honda announced that it intends to launch an all-new brand in China. Things are good for Honda these days, it seems.
