DigitalZombie has obviously never been in or driven an NSX. He is one of the many kids that think reading some car mag will give him the smarts he needs to impress his friends. Get a life and start saving for a real man’s car…the next Honda/Acura V10. I have several NSX, including a blown 92 that will eat a vette for lunch anyday. And when that Viper is getting worked on for the 10th time or gassing-up for the 2nd time that day, I will be out for another drive in my dependable sports rocket with not a care in the world. I also own a 05TL and 05 TSX and the TL will make most cars feel a little whimpy above 120MPH.

Nsx is a car that last a life time. Where do u find a car that looks good for 15 yrs? the new one gona cost the whole 15 more years to catch up… v10 500+ hp 7psi 750hp AWD hahahahhah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honda has always been tastefull, when they do something they do it proper. They have always done things at their own speed and their own way. They don’t put out comercials that bang on the other cars in the market, they let their products speek for themselves. They have always been a technical,enviornmental,and quality leader not to mention an inovater. I can’t wait for this next car to come out. “The Power Of Dreams”

WoW! V10’s?? Honda dominated F1 and Indy in the late 80’s and with that technology, it trickled to the NSX which spanked just about every car in the market at the time. All the cars you see now just barely caught up to the technology Honda put out in 1990. Besides….Honda wanted a balanced car that can handle on the course. Not some poorly built trash with 400hp. I can’t wait til this baby comes out!!! All these other companies better get their head start while they can.

The DOHC VTEC V6 NSX might have been woefully underpowered, but it’s still widely considered to be one of the best sports cars ever produced by those who know. ****, on Top Gear recently, somebody beat a C6 Corvette in it from a standing start – no easy feat even considering that the younger idiot host was piloting the vette.

VTEC V10? Sounds good to me. The NSX never had a bad market year because Honda never produced it in record numbers. I think the successor will find equal success in the elite marget segment it’s going to be marketed toward.

problem is, to make up for that, they NEED sexier styling to outcool the supercars. Today its about looks as well as performance. If Honda can have the sense to have more than a trickle of F1 performance know how into this V-10, they can earn a spot to fight, but it’ll come down to the looks from there on…

To digitalzombie : Honda has had plenty of experience building V10s for their F1 cars. Hopefully that technology will trickle down to the V10 they use in the next NSX. NSX was a great car, but it had too many people, especially Americans bashing it for lack of power. Hopefully this will shut them up for good.

You noticed, they mentioned a car that is not even on par with the Euro or US supercars since most reside above the 600-HP.

For US raw power, try the 08 Viper GTS, last of the Ford GT, and the latest TT Saleen S7, or some raw power torque monster. Pleazzzzeeee not another lame attempt at a sport car.

Dude they can build inline 4s but I don’t remember them building v10s. Heck their v6 or inline6 in that NSX hardly have any power and crappy torque compare the Nissan’s VQ. They better have some crazy ass v10 to compete with the aston.

That’s pretty risky, considering even the AMV8 Vantage sells for about a buck ten grand. Even given the heavy discount that Acura offers on its vehicles compared to its competition, are people willing to pay about $100,000 for an Acura? They weren’t willing to pay $45k for the RL. I’m sure it’ll be a typical super high quality Honda product, but people buy badges unfortunately, not the cars.
