Get ready to drop $5000 to control AC and Radio again. What happens when you mess up an Avalon 3.5L engine and warranty isn't there? $12,000 is what happens. Or a used car that you're going to drive til it dies anyways. Is there some compulsion to fix everything that is broken? Fix every luxury feature that has no impact on the drivability of the car? That's up to the owner, who bought the car for luxury purposes. There are plenty of nonmotorized, nondigitized cars out there. Nothing to complain about. If luxury cars aren't your taste, you do have alternatives.
