Hyundai retailers told the National Association of Automobile Dealers that they are the most satisfied with the manufacturer of the products they sell.
The Korean brand took first place in a bi-annual study of 14,700 franchised new car dealers. Second place went to Subaru, while Lexus finished in third place. Cadillac was the only domestic automaker to make the top 10 list.
The study focused on 12 questions about automaker field staff, overall franchise value and automaker policy decisions that have an affect on the dealership. A little over half of all of the new car dealers in the country participated in the study, which was conducted between July and August last year.
The bottom end of the survey included Suzuki, MINI and BMW dealers, all of which stated that they were dissatisfied with the way their respective manufacturers considered franchised dealer input before making decisions.
