Hyundai delays launch of 5-Series competitor

Hyundai has delayed the planned launch of its new luxury sedan until the first half of next year, according to the Korea Herald. The project, dubbed BH, was originally scheduled to debut at the end of this year but apparently requires more time, a Hyundai official said. The large sedan is aimed at competitors like the Lexus ES and BMW 5-series. Recently, we reported that Hyundai had set its sights on the luxury market. Yesterday, the automaker announced its new HCD9 Talus luxury coupe-crossover.
