Hyundai introduced its Genesis sedan to the U.S. at January’s Detroit International Auto Show and the little Korean carmaker that could has just released pricing for its new flagship sedan. The base model V6 Genesis sedan will list from $33,000, with the up-level V8 model stickering from $38,000. Both prices include shipping.
The V6 model will be powered by a 290 horsepower 3.8L unit, which is EPA rated at 18/28 mpg city/highway. Other standard features will include a six-speed automatic transmission, 17 inch wheels, heated leather seats and push-button ignition.

The range-topping Genesis sedan model will feature a 32-valve, 4.6L V8. That engine will kick out 375 horsepower and will return 17/25 mpg city/highway. The V8 model will roll on 18 inch wheels, and will feature a more luxurious interior — complete with a leather-wrapped dash, 15-speaker sound system and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

The Genesis sedan will begin rolling into Hyundai dealerships in July.
