i – think you all have far too little to do to get this worked up about a name. Sure it’s a stupid name, and it’s an ugly car… but it’s the technology that matters. I still believe this is the most promising technology that awaits car propulsion. I don’t care how expensive these will be at first – just get them to the goddamn market already. The only way fueling stations will start sprouting up is if these cars start making it to the road. Big oil is really showing it’s stupidity with this… their infrastructure is already there. If the established want to remain on top they have to take the lead on this… if not they’ll become nothing more than a footnote in history, much like the dinosaurs and they oil they left behind.

Hyundai keeps on rising. I can’t think of anything they offer that I’d want, but to see this company go from cheap and cheerful copycatters to developers of new tech is exciting. I can’t remember another car maker developing this quickly.

Aside from the stupid i-naming scheme, this is good news. Hydrogen IS the fuel of the future, as even current oil companies acknowledge this and are making deep investments into hydrogen R&D. Whether you punks accept it or not is irrelevant.

i-Blue-U Jenna Jameson edition.
It looks like a Prius with DJ-Donk-Master-Flex wheelies. I don’t mind the new hybrid form since it maximizes interior utility in a compact package. But why automakers need to put every concept on ghetto-blaster rims I’ll never know.

All is set for a hydrogen race. Chevy vs Hyundai vs BMW. They surely must realise that without a commercially viable way of obtaining and storing the stuff, Health and Safety will ban it, and no-one would be stupid enough to buy it anyway.
