I2B Wildcat concept to challenge Ferrari, Lambo

11/13/2006, 11:07 AM

By admin

A team of Bulgarian designers have come up with a set of renderings for a new supercar designed to rival the Ferrari F430 and Lamborghini Gallardo. Called the “WildCat,” the car is the vision of Ivan Ivanov, Branimir Dobrev, and Ivan “Sqwall” Stoyneshky.

The car is projected to weigh around 2600lbs and feature a 460 horsepower V8. The I2B team plans to have a full-scale model built by the end of March in order to perform wind tunnel testing. The main objective is to have a working prototype ready to be presented some time in 2008. I2B is currently seeking investors or potential buyers. Gallery after the jump…

Not bad in the stlying but , it reminds me to much of a customized Koenigsegg. But with a bit of work it could have work.

I actually think it’s really cool. The overall shape is pretty smooth, but all of those lines all over it make it somewhat reminiscent of a transformer. it’s also got this kind of lurching-thing going on, the way the cab is so far up to the front and then how the back slopes down. That’s pretty different. Plus I kinda like the thing on the back, whatever it is. I’m going to pretend it shoots missiles.

If it can perform on par (ish) with its competition, then I think this could find a market. I mean, hey, the more the merrier.

a4, shut the phook up dude. What are you? 14? You repeatedly don’t know what the hell you’re talking about, then get all defensive when you’re called out on it. You must get beat up on the playground every single day.

You and that icg-whatever guy need to grow up.

I’d highly recommend you stop threatening people on here.

I’m sure you’re going to start attacking me too. I’m shaking. I’m simply trying to call you out and suggest you change your attitude. It’s pretty pathetic.

yes i hang out on the playground its fun
the engineers obviously sound from russian descent, and i saw the BULGARIAN clearly stated in the article. my initial point simply stated that this will not match the likes of the Italians. i know what im talking about, sorry for attempting to relate it to other things. asshole

Passat got dissed and can’t deal with it like an Audi.. As for the car, I hope the design hasn’t fully been worked out yet, hopefully the windtunnel will give it a better shape….

Go to the I2B website and look at ‘Work in Progress.’ The wire framing is cool and you can see how complicated it would be to manufacture those forms.

I agree with Nowei that lump on the back does indeed look like a missile launcher. The whole car reeks of 1970s Hotwheel. I was always more of a Matchbox /Corgi kid myself.

It will be another “supercar” like the Koenigsegg,
a stylized body shell on top of 4 wheels, and an engine.
And it drives like ****.

Actually, there is hope as this is simply a work in progress—reformat their hard drives before it’s too late for the I2B team to come to their sensibilities!

A bit contrived in style, but I think it just might look better in person.
But, I have to say the best part of this thread is “Passat” as an insult. I must admit that cracked me up.

With the way this car is styled, I will be surprised if they can find buyers or investors for that matter because this thing will only reach the planning stages and mercifully killed off. Even other upstart boutique carmakers with stunning prototypes like Fenomenon with the new Stratos failed to make the mark what more with this ugly car!

Don’t worry, even if it gets off the ground, so to speak, it will not pose any threat whatsoever to the established players, especially Ferrari. But I would love to hear the “pitch” to the investors just to rate it for bull**** factor, which will be off the scale.
