Rapper, actor, and car lover Ice Cube will host and perform at Spike TV’s second annual AutoRox, a nationally televised awards show celebrating America’s passion for the automobile. For the first time ever, Ice Cube will perform live his new singles “Chrome and Paint” and “Why We Thugs” off of his forthcoming solo LP, “Laugh Now, Cry Later” which will be released on June 6, 2006. The 90-minute show, to be taped on April 7 at the Fremont Experience in downtown Las Vegas, will air Tuesday, April 18 (10:00-11:30pm ET/PT) on Spike TV. Awards will be handed out for Best Luxury Car, Hottest Exotic, Convertible, Sports Car, SUV’s, and others. The 2006 show has moved from Los Angeles to downtown Las Vegas.
