July might not have been a particularly good month overall for Honda, but that didn’t stop the Japanese automaker from getting three vehicles on the month’s top 10 list.
Midsize sedans were particularly hot last month as buyers flocked to the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Chevrolet Malibu and Nissan Altima. Aside from the Malibu, all of July’s top 10 saw notable increases in sales compared to last month.
As usual, full-size pickups performed well – and Chrysler’s Ram (once a Dodge) managed to sneak onto the top 10 for the first time in recent memory.
The most notable no-shows for the month included Hyundai’s Sonata and Ford’s Fusion. Interestingly, the 11th best seller was the Hyundai Elantra, not the Sonata.
