Acura prices 2010 ZDX crossover from $45,495
Acura’s new ZDX “four-door sports coupe,” as the company chooses to call it, will be priced from $45,495 plus destination when it goes on sale on December 15. Three trim levels will be available: The base ZDX, ZDX Technology Package and ZDX Advance Package.
Attempting to follow in the success of other retro hatchbacks – such as the Fiat 500 – Citroen will produce a new-age version of its iconic 2CV, a new report finds. The new model will be largely based on the Revolte concept that made its world debut at September’s Frankfurt Motor Show.

Aptera delays 2e to 2010
Electric car manufacturer Aptera says that its new 2e three-wheeled two-seater will not hit the roads until 2010 due to development that has outpaced funding for the small California company. The company’s co-founders are also pulling back their involvement in the program to focus on other activities, leading many to question the future of the aerodynamic electric vehicle.

Hummer planning H4, H5 models
Although General Motors has yet to complete the sale of its Hummer brand to Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Co. Ltd. – the deal is expected to be finalized by December 1 — the Chinese truck maker is already planning at least two smaller models for the iconic off-road brand.
Two days ago one of GM’s chairmen, Ed Whitacre, said that it has become difficult for GM to hire competitively due to government-imposed pay restrictions. Today, White House pay czar Kenneth Feinberg addressed this issue with mixed messages – both acknowledging the need to be competitive and defending the concept of limited pay.

VW/Audi to open flagship showroom in Manhattan
Volkswagen is set to purchase a 265,000 square foot showroom at 11th Avenue and 56th Street in Manhattan that will serve as a highly visible showcase for the company’s VW and Audi brands.
Until now, the GMC Sierra Denali has only been available as a luxury light-duty pickup with a 6.2-liter V-8 gasoline engine. Then, at the 2007 SEMA Show, GMC showed off a diesel-powered Heavy Duty Denali concept, strongly suggesting it wanted to go head-to-head with Ford’s top-of-the-line King Ranch Super Duty. Judging from these latest spy photos, it looks like General Motors is about to make its HD Denali concept a reality.
