Nissan ’s Infiniti luxury division is turning 20, with the Japanese automaker announcing four limited edition G models to mark the momentous occasion. Dubbed the G Anniversary Editions, the special package will be available on the G37 Sedan, G37 Sedan AWD, G37 Coupe and G37 Convertible.
Each Anniversary Edition G will come standard with Infiniti’s Premium and Navigation Packages. Coupe and Sedan models will also come equipped with the Sport Package and 4-Wheel Active Steer, although the latter will not be available on the Sedan AWD model.
To set the Anniversary Editions apart from other G models, the entire range will come in Graphite Shadow with Monaco Red Leather interiors. Two-door models will feature unique Red-toned Maple interior accents while the G Sedan will sport Shodo-finish aluminum trim.
Other unique Anniversary features include a Midnight Black grille, special alloy wheels, revised front fascia, sport side sills and a rear spoiler. The Coupe models receive a new rear fascia.
“These unique and very limited editions represent what Infiniti is all about – Inspired Performance,” said Ben Poore, vice president, Infiniti Business Unit. “Building on the popularity of the Monaco Red Leather and special Red-toned Maple interior that helped launch the G Convertible, the Anniversary Editions add a number of new styling touches that will make them instantly recognizable on the showroom floor and on the road.”
Pricing for the G Anniversary Editions starts at $43,350 for the G37 Sedan, climbing to $54,900 for the G37 Convertible. Only 350 examples of the G37 Sedan Anniversary Edition will be produced, while the Coupe and Convertible models will each be limited to a production run of 200 units. The Anniversary Editions are expected to roll into Infiniti dealers next month.
