Check out g35driver if you want to read more, so Infiniti would seem to care about it. Also, they cannot let the non-lux new Maxima be as quick, so the boost in HP seems like smart business to keeps the cars in their own segments. g35/g37 drivers do worry about MPG as their are several threads about it on the internet, it is poroibably one of the biggest complaints by owners, and it would appear that Infiniti is trying to please the owners as well as keeping the demand for the car up.
