That was more worthless than anything you've posted to date, fuckwad ... read my masterpiece again and see how QUALITY is done by someone who's intellect is miles ahead of your primitive brain power ... must be a shame to be shown for who you really are here ... a worthless, illiterate write-off. FACT, you are an idiot and gas prices affect this class of cars, dufus.

Maybe you can get your 7-year-old neighbour to come over and help you understand what 'sbebs' just posted ... and then they can teach you the difference bvetween 'then' and 'than', you fucking illiterate loser.

The 7 speed tranmission is suppose to improve the MPG by 2-3 MPG compared to the 2008 model. Check out g35driver if you want to read more, so Infiniti would seem to care about it. Also, they cannot let the non-lux new Maxima be as quick, so the boost in HP seems like smart business to keeps the cars in their own segments. g35/g37 drivers do worry about MPG as their are several threads about it on the internet, it is poroibably one of the biggest complaints by owners, and it would appear that Infiniti is trying to please the owners as well as keeping the demand for the car up.

Right back at you, fuckwad, so don't believe the shit you, yourself, post ... you look more and more retarded every time you post. Your ignorant posts above, #8 and #12, clearly show how you will spin your story to suit whatever you want it to ... funny though, your last post, #22, seems to conflict with your positions in #8 and #12 ... hmmmmm, maybe YOUR experience in your worthless world paints a picture described in the earlier posts, which are delusions, but the REAL world is displayed in that masterpiece in your last post ... there IS more than your pathetic world where, FACT, gas prices affect this class of cars.

By the way, you fucking dipshit, your illiteracy, in addition to your delusional thought process, is exemplary ... learn the difference between "then" and "than" ... after which you can move on to grade four ... you'll grow intellectually one day, moron.

I am still sticking to what I said before and will also add that even though you may have possession of a leased car and entitled to said possession against the whole world... that stops at the true owner. And, the leassor is the true owner, not the leassee... think a house rental.

So, people who "buy" [key word] Infinit's are not concerned w/petrol prices. The prices have been on a steady climb since Katrin rocked the states and that concern should have played into the decision to buy the car and ultimately caused you to decide it against. However, if you are a badge snob, and choose to live outside your means, tough luck, I am sure a nice Aveo will be waiting you if you chose otherwise.

Plus, a 3 series is not an image car, every sorority chick in the world, at a good uni, has one of those things... like a high schooler and a civic/corolla.

No, nice try for you, 'NoNameDufus', I have two brothers as friends, both driving 3s, ... both complain ... what idiots like you fail to understand is that leasing a 3 doesn't put you in a "super-rich" category that freely throws money away on fuel ... especially a car like a 3 which is bought by many as an image car ... many who live beyond their means pretending to be something they're not.

The real world doesn't revolve around your views and opinions, fool ... nice try ... go back and read 'suavio's post ... but make sure to get your six-year-old neighbour to help with the comprehension part ... it is above your present abilities, illiterate monkey ... learn to spell while you're at it.

I happen to drive a 3 series, NoName. That just shoots your theory all to hell. People who drive Bentleys don't worry about fuel prices, but drivers of average cars like BMW, Infiniti, Lexus, Mercedes do. And poor folks who drive Toyotas and Hondas certianly do.

Infiniti is offering more and more features compared to a more expensive bare Bimmer. That extra handling just doesn't cut it anymore for me as a consumer. In fact, Infinitis handle just fine for just about anything minus track.

I think it's safe to say that the average owner of almost any brand -- doesn't matter whether it's Ford, Mercedes, BMW or Infiniti -- is concerned in some way with high gas prices. Now there are certainly owners of all brands that aren't concerned (e.g. someone that bought an M5 probably isn't concerned) but the majority of the "bread-and-butter" owners are bound to be concerned (e.g. the 3-series owners). The only brands that are probably completely insulated from any gas price concerns are the Ferraris, Lambos, and Aston Martins of the world. And I'd still leave Porsche out that list simply because a Boxster or Cayman is an obtainable stretch for some "normal" income people.

I think that people who buy Infinity are concerned with gas prices. I would think that this market segment consist of people who want luxury, service associated with it, performance and not concerned with "old world" stigma associated with luxury and performance.

Yea, but people who buy Infiniti's are not not concerned with fuel prices... if they were they would buy a civic or something the likes of. The fact is that there is nothing anyone can do about fuel prices going up, and I, like so many others, cannot be bothered complaining every-time I go to the pump.

Madcapp, who says that the new engine will get worse mileage than the old engine? I'll wait until 3rd party mileage is posted to make the comment you just did.

Hey that's a smart way to grow your brand....bigger engines and skrocketing fuel prices go together like Kindergarten and crack cocaine.

Infinity is definitely chasing Lexus and edging German brands in performance, handling and definitely value for buck (or euro for that matter).
