Luxury automaker Infiniti made its first official appearance at SEMA today. Parked next to the rather modest Nissan display, Infiniti had a handful of manufacturer-customized vehicles on display, including a lowered and widened G37 sedan, a lightly modified EX crossover and a luxurious – if wildly-painted M35x sedan.
Attracting the most attention was the M35x by tuner ShowOpt. A chameleon-esque green and purple paint scheme, as well as a VIP-treatment interior made the M35x easily the most customized Infiniti on display. Custom 20 inch wheels, diamond-stitched leather and side curtains for the rear passengers added a little bling to Infiniti’s otherwise understated luxury sedan.
The G37 sedan was modified by Automotive Design Concepts. It was widened two inches at each corner with flared wheel wells and it received custom 20 inch wheels mounted on high performance tires. It also got subtle new bumpers front and rear and a K&N air filter with a dual cool-air intake, which adds 8 horsepower according to Infiniti .
The EX received a custom paint job, “ghost chrome,” 19 inch wheels, shaved door handles and a cloth moonroof.
