In anticipation of the launch of the Infiniti brand in Europe, Nissan’s luxury brand has began offering a virtual reservation list for potential customers. The site is offered in five languages, and will give those who sign up an opportunity to spec out their car before anyone off the street gets the chance.
Nearly 10,000 interested parties have already signed up, according Bastien Schupp, Infiniti Europe’s marketing director, in an Autocar report. The brand will launch in France, Spain and Italy this October, with a Germany and UK debut in April of 2009, followed by Sweden in 2010. The automaker will, at least initially, offer its G37 coupe and sedan, EX35 crossover and FX50 SUV for sale in Europe.
