Infiniti prices 2009 FX CUV

After launching its all-new FX crossover at last March’s Geneva Motor Show, Infiniti has officially released pricing for its popular crossover. The 2009 FX35 will list from $40,950 while the uplevel FX50 will start at $56,700. Those prices do not include shipping, which Infiniti has yet to announce.

For the entry price of $40,950, you get a sporty crossover equipped with rear-wheel drive and a 303 horsepower 3.5L V6. For an additional $1,400, you can send power to all for wheels. FX35 buyers can also choose from a Technology Package ($2,900), Mobile Entertainment System ($1,600), Premium Package ($2,350), Navigation Package ($2,850), and Touring Package ($2,650).

The range-topping FX50 adds a 390 horsepower 5.0L, a seven-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive — all for $56,700. The FX50 comes loaded to the gills from the factory, so options are fairly limited. However, FX50 buyers will still have a few option boxes to check, including the $3,000 Sport Package and a no-cost 21-inch wheel and tire package.

The new FX goes on sale beginning June 24.

I have a feeling FX-50 sightings are going to be more rare than nipples that still point up in an old age home.

Why did Infiniti make this thing look so cartoonish?

Johnny, you are underestimating the skill of plastic surgeons on our lovely continent. I’ve heard they are already tightening vaginas and implanting hyman when appropriate. Joan Collins is ready to be deflowered again.
Oh yeah, FX-50 strait to Saudi desert.

I like the headlights too!
Hard to justify a $15k+ price difference, doh.
303HP will have to cut it.

La****Lover, I am not Irish catholic: wasn’t “touched” by a priest and my roihds are fine the way they are. No fixin’ needed, tattoo on my ass says: “Exit Only”. I am sure you would love to kiss my tattoos, but sorry lover boy, you have to dance in your local YMCA (or join SF navy).

The FX has always been overpriced given the limited function it has (being a non SUV that is).

Dead before paying +50K for this “luxo” Murano. Not only because it doesn’t worth it, because I can get several vehicles that are better, more practical and even less expensive.

Impulsive, what are you, in 3rd grade, have to resort to name calling and messing up people’s name (in this case screen name) to insult people.

Why is the navigation system so expensive? Prices for factory NAV systems should be going down, not up! When I bought my ‘03 Infiniti G35 coupe, the nav package cost $2,000. Now its almost $3,000. Yeah, there are more features like NavTraffic and touchscreen, but still, when you compare the cost to a top-of-the-line portable Garmin, this is crazy.

I just sold my ‘06 FX35. Only had 22,000 miles. Glad I did before this came out. The ride was harsh because of the 20″ rims, with AWD was sluggish off the line, horrible mileage, sunroof rattled the entire time I had it (dealer “fixed” it each time), leather on driver’s seat was cracking, black trim around door windows faded and turned a spotted grey, silver roof rails lost the polish and luster, but stereo was really good.

@ autonut
Why do you need a tat declaring ‘exit only’ on your ass? Have you had an experience that has made that a necessary addition? FYI, gynochomastia is man boobs you douche. Not hemorrhoids.
