I agree, Infiniti cars are tiny for tall people. So are the Lexus too. I like both but because I am really tall forget it. Gotta go German.

G35 was a JDM first design, and brought over to US as Infiniti branded product. G37 and up went after FX35 design and become much more of the ‘Flow’ design Infiniti has now.
They sure don’t look aggressive like recent Cadillac products. Except the new FX.

I like the current direction that Infinity is heading towards.
The design theme is much more pleasing than preceding designs.

I agree with F50, I dug the G35. The G37 on the other hand, the front clip in particular looks like something you could pick up on NOPI.

I liked the old G35, it was a car that I would have liked to drive, basically could have appealed to a lot of people, the G37 on the other hand, is a women’s car. I have to admit that I did like it when it first came out and it was comfy.

I too like the direction nissan/infiniti have taken…it is why infiniti is one of my favorite company.

I want to ask him how his design team managed to go backwards in designing the G37 Sedan and Coupe in looks from it’s previous generation. I don’t know how they did it, but they made them both look cheaper than before.

So Shiro, when you sat down to design the latest FX and EX SUVs, did you ever think about having someone taller than 5’6″ sit in the back? I’m all for the seductive and sensual attempt at design, but the vehicle needs to be somewhat PRACTICAL. Couldn’t believe the severe lack of rear room on the EX when we saw it especially for a $40k vehicle
