Is this the 2008 Ford Super Duty?

05/31/2006, 5:09 PM

By admin

A new photography purportedly of the 2008 Ford Super Duty has begun circulating online. While we cannot confirm its authenticity, it does seem to match recent spy photos. The truck is rumored to have a new 350 horsepower V8 engine. Last week, Reuters reported that Ford decided to delay the launch of its redesigned F-Series Super Duty pickup truck until January to work out quality issues. Full image after the jump…

Looks a little dated IMHO, probably fake, I think the real one will look more like Ford’s recent concept truck

I’d say that it looks pretty true to the spy pics circulating….

good god, they are trying to one up the new Tundra with excessive biggness! Can’t wait for the next gen Ram to once again define the styling of true light trucks for another decade and a half. (Rampage cues…)

I’ve seen plenty of mules by where I work, they’re definitely fords, I just haven’t been able to get close enough.

And #5, where did MKX come from? Nobody brought Lincoln into this.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE AMIRILLO HOOD FUNCTIONAL HOOKED UP TO THE TURBO’S OF THE NEW 6.4 INCORPERATED INTO BIG CHANGE, AND ALSO A VERTICAL GRILL CHANGE DONE IN CHROME WITH ROUND HOLES OR SQUARES IN THE GRILL ,INSTESD OF HAVING TO WAIT A YEAR FOR AFTERMARKET TO CATCH UP TO THE MOUNTING CLIPS (WHAT A SCAM)
AS FOR THE PIC UP TOP OF PAGE I THINK SOMEONE JUST USED HIS OR HERS IMAGINATION TO SHOW WHAT WAS UNDER THE CAMO.
STILL WOULD LOVE TO SEE AN INTAKE HOOD FUNTIONAL ON THE TRUCK,JUST IMAGINE HOW MUCH CLEANER YOUR AIR FILTER WOULD BE AND LAST ,ALSO WHAT THE CONFIGURATION WOULD DO FOR COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEMS ON THE NEW ENGINE.

AS FOR THE GENTLEMAN IN COMMENT 8, SIR PLEASE REFER YOURSELF TO ANY OF THE MANY SPY PHOTOS ON THE INTERNET THAT HAVE TO DO WITH THE INTERIOR OF THE REDESIGNED SUPER DUTY,YOU WILL FIND THAT THE MAJORITY OF THE REDO HAS TO DO WITH INSIDE OF THE TRUCK, IT’S PRETTY SHARP. ALOT OF THE FUNTIONS YOU NEED TO WORK ARE IN BETTER REACH THUS LEAVING THE PASS. SIDE CLEANED UP AND MORE FUTUREISTIC LOOKING, LOOKS GOOD, HOPE YOU WILL LIKE IT,JOJO

I saw one today in Dearborn. Even in its polk-a-dot camoflauge you could easily make out the front end. The picture is consistant with what I saw.

The truck looks good but the front end sucks ass. It needs to be like th 05′, 06′ models other than the it looks good to me.
