My thought is if they had any brains they would've just improved on the exsisting NSX formula. The handling was already spot on, it could've maybe used a little more power, not much else. I was fortunate enough to drive my old bosses, I was not disappointed. I took it down this great stretch of winding road and literally couldn't let the cars in front of me get far enough away. I was absolutely dumbfounded when I heard Acura was going to make it front engine, although I wouldn't mind AWD at all. But a V10 or even a V8 just goes against everything the original NSX stands for which is an emphasis on light weight, handling, and daily drivability (<----not a word.....yet). With no mid-engine setup they might as well kiss most of the original NSX customers goodbye because they are not going to want a front engine V10 not at all. By the way that new design is clean but lacks any sort of unique touches, it just looks like a collage of a million other sporty design cues made famous by Japanese auto manufacturers.
